Hi, I'm Patrick.
A geeky old software engineer from Massachusetts, starting my 54th lap around the sun.
I've been building software for about thirty years, from engineering roles at telecom, networking and media companies to CTO jobs at healthcare software companies. These days I lead technology, R&D, IT, security and data for a company that helps hospitals raise money for patient care.

At home I'm married to a teacher who works harder for her students than anyone I know, I'm dad to three kids, and I share an office with a Ragdoll cat named Coco who has never once missed a meeting.
Lap 54 started as a way to write down the small things I'm noticing at this age. Now it's about staying curious, staying healthy and staying close to the people who matter. The Dude abides.
