Keeping the brain young by building things that are fun, a little nerdy, and usually made with one of my kids in mind. The running ones are live on pmcdonough.com, and each card opens it straight up. They run in your browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install.

Bronco Seacoast Run v0.57: the bikes lean into the turns you hold, not into every tap of the steering.
Bronco Seacoast Run v0.56: an e-bike and a Ducati Monster join the grid, with a helmet and safety check before every bike race.
Bronco Seacoast Run v0.54: a second track, Andover's Main Street, built from my own dashcam drive and GPS track.
Bronco Seacoast Run v0.53: on a phone you feel the race: the curb, the rumble off the road, braking, upshifts and drifts.
Cathedral Lab v0.14: step inside any building at any step of the build.
Hockey Strategy Lab v0.71: attackers stay out of the crease and off the goalie.

A kart-style race on real roads at real length, every building where it really stands. Route 1A from Seabrook over the Hampton River bridge and up the Hampton Beach strip, or Andover's Main Street in autumn colour. The family Bronco, a GT3 RS, an e-bike or a Ducati. It started life as Ring Kart, on the Nürburgring.
Build the whole of Notre-Dame or Amiens in 3D, piece by piece, the way the masons did, from the footings to the spire. Every stone carries real load. Then design your own and see whether it stands. It started as Keystone, designed with my son.
A hockey strategy lab on the oldest rivalry in the sport. Every player is a real 2025-26 Bruin or Canadien. Set each team's game plan, run 100 games, change one thing and see whether it helps. The first thing I put on pmcdonough.com, and the template for everything after it.
One morning I forgot my headphones at the gym and ended up steering three builds from my phone, answering questions and prompting Claude Code through the next step of the plan. Quiet turned out to be the most productive thing in my gym bag.
